The Return of Yoga X
I just finished up the flow portion of Yoga X. It felt so good! I've been meaning to do this all week! I had plans to do the workout on Thursday, but I was up late doing work on Wednesday night and I was exhausted in the morning. Then I was surprised by some Eric Clapton concert tickets, so I went to that on Thursday night. It was great! He sounds AMAZING!!! So yesterday I was studying all day because I have a final exam today, and I never got in yoga then either. FINALLY, this morning I decided I had to do it, and I decided to do half since I really don't have time for the full 90 minutes. It's definitely a busy week/weekend! I'm happy I did 50 minutes though... I feel nice and stretched out now. On Sunday I'll get in my long (14 mile run)!

Week 3 is coming to a close...
It's been a busy couple of days (in a good way... visiting friends and family) but I managed to get in yoga and legs & back. I did yoga at 6 AM yesterday, and I have to say it did not go as well as usual. I just wasn't feeling it! I find that yoga is an easy workout to slack on and not do as well. If I'm tired for legs or arms, there's not much I can do to slack. You do a bicep curl or you don't, you know? For yoga though, I find it easier to only go partway, and I feel like I might've done that yesterday. I still sweat but it just didn't feel as intense! On the other hand, legs went really well today! I'm definitely strange because that is my favorite workout. I love it! I even liked those stupid 80 20 Siebers speed squats today.
Tomorrow is Kenpo again, and I have a 5 hour drive home. I'm trying to decide if I want to sleep in, get on the road early, and then workout at night or if I want to workout before I leave. We'll see!
Recovery week next week! I think I need it!

Yoga X - Day 4
Today was Yoga X, and I was definitely looking forward to it. I figure if anyone can put together an awesome yoga workout, Tony Horton can. A few years ago when I was living in Bethlehem, I went to a yoga class at Easton Yoga. I wasn't expecting much, and I was shocked when I left. I was dripping with sweat! Not only that, but my whole body was sore for days. Since then, I've been trying to find a yoga workout that can do that for me. I believe I've found it! I was sweating a lot, my muscles were burning, and I loved it! I will say that there were times I was cursing to myself, but overall, I think it's an awesome workout. I was a bit worn out afterwards, but I feel great now. I need to get some blocks because there are quite a few things I can't do yet, so I'll look at target for those soon. I think I got the closest I've ever gotten to some of those balance poses before too. The power of the mind, I guess... I'm going at this workout thinking I have try my hardest at everything, and it's working out!
Back to studying... yuck.
